As parents, guardians and teachers it is our purpose to lead our youth toward knowing and accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour and building a personal relationship with Him, our Heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit.
To accomplish this we seek to help the family lay down a spiritual foundation that in God’s time will lead our young people into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
Children, ages 5 to 12 years, are involved in lessons suitable to their age 3 of every 4 weeks in a fun, safe, encouraging learning environment. Nursery care is also available for younger children upon request.
Teens participate in a Youth Bible Study twice a month, and are encouraged to serve in the congregation with set up, take down, worship, and other outreach opportunities.

Topic: Youth combined with main service
NEW - Starting in the fall of 2011 going through to spring of 2012 we will be running with two study series alternating weeks. The studies will occur during the sermon time of our regular service and will occur during the first 3 weeks of the month. The fourth service of the month our teens will be in the main service.
A. New Study Series: Comparative Religion: Have you ever wondered what the various "great religions" of the world teach about God, mankind, and what life is all about? As disciples of Jesus sent to show the love of God to a hurting world, listening to what our neighbours are saying is an important aspect of loving them. At the same time, we learn more about Jesus and ourselves as we learn to identify those points where the teachings of Jesus and the teachings of other religions sharply contrast with the Christian view of life.

B. New Study Series:TrueU 2: Is the Bible Reliable
This second set in the life-changing DVD series asks, "Is the Bible reliable?" Again, proven facts and insights from philosophy, cosmology and biology will help you engage intellectually with professors and peers, both in and outside of the classroom. For centuries, intellectuals and critics alike have questioned inconsistencies, Dr. Meyer examines ancient texts and archeological evidence to build a compelling case for the accuracy of Scripture - and why the Bible is more trustworthy than ever.

Upcoming Studies
Lesson 6 - The Babylonian Conquest of JudahThe end of the Kingdom of Judah came about as a result of the Babylonians, led by Nebuchadnezzar II, campaigning through Judah and destroying cities in their wake. This culminated in the capture and exile of most of the Judeans, and the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple. This lesson goes through the evidence for the events and people during the Babylonian conquest of Judah, and demonstrates the astonishing amount of agreement between the Bible and archaeology.
Lesson 7 - The New Testament: Canons of Historicity
The New Testament, although often maligned by critics, is actually the best attested and most reliable document from antiquity. This lesson examines the marks of historicity for the text of the New Testament — the early composition, internal consistency, and reliability of transmission — all of which outdo any other ancient work.
Lesson 8 - The Early Composition of Luke and Acts
The books of Luke and Acts were composed as a two volume work by one author — Luke. This lesson highlights some of the most interesting and impressive evidence for people, places, and artifacts that are mentioned by Luke. The discoveries show that Luke was an historian of the highest caliber, and his books are completely reliable.
Lesson 9 - External Corroboration of the New Testament
Over the years, archaeologists and historians have discovered vast amounts of material that corroborates places, people, and events in the New Testament. This lesson gives a broad sampling of finds related to both the Gospels and Epistles which demonstrate historical accuracy.
Lesson 10 - The Trial of Jesus
The focus of the Gospels is the trial, crucifixion, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This final lesson shows that five major figures in the trial of Jesus account — Peter, Pilate, Herod Antipas, Caiaphas, and of course Jesus — have all been independently attested by various archaeological discoveries and ancient documents.
